  • Welcome

What you do today can improve all your tomorrows…

Welcome to Cedars Academy - a richly diverse community with a culture embedded with opportunities; for our children to access outstanding teaching and an innovative, purposeful curriculum; a place for parents to feel part of a caring and supportive community; and an environment for staff to benefit from high quality personal development, while feeling valued and supported in what we believe to be the best career there is! We are all part of the ‘Cedars Family’ with one ultimate goal - supporting our children to be the best they can be, providing inspiration to fuel a lifelong ambition of education and achievement, empowering them to contribute positively to their family, their community and the wider world.

We promote equality, inclusion and wellbeing, where we celebrate every child and every child matters. We proudly aim to make a difference to our children’s lives and it only takes a step into Cedars Academy to know how we fulfil this. We are committed to achievement and have high expectations for all children through our E.P.I.C. curriculum underpinned by our PRIDE Values.

We place a strong emphasis on enriching the learning experiences for our children by providing stimulating opportunities in and beyond the classroom, developing their academic and personal interests.

With a highly motivated and talented staff, we pride ourselves on our caring and supportive ethos, with a determination to provide cutting edge learning to ensure our children receive the best education possible; we know what we do matters, and it matters a great deal to all of us. We do all we can to ensure every child feels happy, safe and make sure we adapt our teaching styles so all of our children succeed and excel.

Working in partnership with parents and carers is important to us, and we encourage and value their involvement in the school, recognising  their part in their children’s achievement and in promoting a positive ethos throughout the school. Collaboratively, we want to ensure every child takes advantage of the opportunities provided, and that they leave with the right values, resilience and are prepared for their next step in education.

We hope you find the website useful in providing a brief insight into our  school community, but please come and visit us so you can fully appreciate the ‘Cedars Family’.
